Shelby is a graduate from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Pitt Community College, class of 2018. She has always loved being around and working with kids. She has special interests in feeding, handwriting and sensory integration techniques as well as developmental disorders. She is certified in the Interactive Metronome treatment modality and she holds an Autism Certificate through the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards. Shelby is our lead therapist in our Goldsboro location. During her free time, Shelby loves spending time with family and camping on the river!
Alexis (Lexi) is a certified occupational therapy assistant. She graduated from Texas Tech University with her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. In 2019, Lexi graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Texas with an associates degree to become a certified occupational therapy assistant. Since graduating, she has mainly worked with adults, but has had a desire to work with children. Lexi enjoys being able to see the joy and excitement that comes from kids and their families when goals are met through therapy. During her free time she spends time with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She loves all things fitness, outdoors and sports!
Cindy is the billing specialist for all locations at Carolina Therapy Connection. Cindy has over 12 years of billing experience in multiple medical office settings. Cindy is a member of AHIMA, and is currently working on her CPC credentialing. In her spare time Cindy enjoys kayaking, hiking, and playing with her two silly puppies Lilly, and Daisy.
Pat is the Collections Specialist for all locations at Carolina Therapy Connection. Pat works tirelessly with insurance companies and handles all of our billing claims and invoicing. She joins us from New York and will help to answer all of your billing questions!
